Welcome to the Tift County Fire and Rescue web site. We are very proud of our personnel, facilities, and equipment and believe we offer the residents of Tift County the highest quality emergency services available anywhere in the Southeast. Our mission is to provide 24 hour quality prehospital emergency medical care and services to the residents and visitors of Tift County.

Here's What We Do

We serve approximately 42,000 people in Tift County and respond to nearly 9,000 emergency calls a year

Our 38 employees, including 19 skilled paramedics and six EMTs), work 24-hour shifts and provide emergency and non-emergency services around the clock seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our Medical Director is an emergency room physician. All employees participate in bi-annual disaster drills with the other local public safety organizations and Tift Regional Medical Center.
